CLEANING
Painting cleaning includes cleaning the picture frame and vacuuming the canvas on the back. Cleansing the paint surface of old varnish, nicotine, dirt, etc. Finished with varnishing with finishing varnish.

REPAIR OF A HOLE/TAIN
The hole/tear is repaired and the painting is cleaned as described under "cleaning". It is not possible to repair a hole without cleaning the painting (otherwise the damage will still be visible), therefore it is included in the price. In addition, the damage is retouched. The end result is a completely invisible repair of a hole.

REPAIR OF CRACKING RINGS
Repair of cracking of the paint layer or basic cracking. Preservation (stretching) of the paint layer or the base. Cleaning the painting as described above is finished with varnishing with final varnish.

RECONSTRUCTION
Reconstruction of missing paint and/or foundation. Conservation of paint and/or base, cleaning, rebuilding of paint and/or base in missing places (if necessary). Varnishing, retouching.

Conservator
L. Tikjøb is an academy-educated art conservator with more than 30 years of experience in the restoration of oil paintings, icons, murals and wood reliefs. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts with a specialization in the restoration of wall and easel paintings, and is further educated from the Art College with a specialization in the restoration and conservation of works of art.
L.Tikjøb has carried out several tasks for various museums.
In addition, she has worked with the conservation of unique murals and icons at several monasteries and churches.
L. Tikjøb has owned Frederiksberg Malerirerstaurering since 2004. Among her clients are private individuals, companies, museums and private collectors of well-known works.
